Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 at Bavarian Comfort Care in Bridgeport. Age 100 years. The daughter of the late George and Essie (Durkee) Ross, Bessie was born March 2, 1920 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to William P. Daugharty on July 19, 1947. He predeceased her April 16, 2013.
Surviving to cherish her memory are one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Linda Daugharty, Frankenmuth; four grandsons and seven great-grandchildren; a very special niece and her husband, Marilyn (Charlie) Lefler; several other nieces and nephews. Bessie was preceded in death by her sister, Myrtle (Lew) Anger and her brother, David (Nell) Ross.
Private Funeral Services took place at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor Brant Piper officiated. Interment in Cook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Countryside Trinity Church.
