Services for Mrs. Emma Burbank, 54, of 742 Sumner will be at 9 pm at the Eslinger funeral home with burial in Hoyt cemetery. She died Saturday night in a Topeka hospital.
Mrs. Burbank was born in Otoe County, Nebraska. She lived in the Hoyt community many years before moving to Topeka in 1942. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving are a brother, Lester E. Oelke, of the home, six nieces and nine nephews.

Emma was the daughter of John Frederick and Priscilla May Ellis Oelke. She was married 1925-1930 to Leon W. Burbank. By 1940 or so, it appears they were, or in the process of, divorcing. He remarried twice more and died in Missouri in 1963.
