Mrs. Sarah Barb, relict of the late Gideon Barb, deceased, died at her home at Mapletown, this county, Sunday, July 13, '90, in her 78th year.
Her maiden name was Webb. She was born in the Shenandoah Valley, Va., in 1912, and she and her husband removed to Greene County after they were married.
She had been a consistent member of the Presbyterian church for over half a century and as a lady bore the respect and love of all her friends and acquaintances.
She leaves five sons and one daughter, namely: W. H. Barb, Esq., of this place, L. S. Barb, of Allegheny, Pa., H. K. and J. W. Barb of Mapletown, G. M. of Whiteley and Mrs. P. E. Donham, of Monongahela.
