Jan was the loving daughter of Ed and Geraldine (Carter) Thomas. She spent most of her career working as the shipping and receiving coordinator at Foodtown where she met the love of her life, her husband, Greg Gordon, Sr. The two were bound in marriage in 1986 at Wildwood Metropark on a beautiful, sun shining summer day.

She enjoyed many things in life from landscaping the beautiful yard she and Greg shared together, to their bowling team, going to Mudhens games together, and regularly traveling together to North Carolina and Florida with other close relatives and friends.

A resident of Waterville, Jan passed away suddenly. She was survived by her beloved husband, Greg; aunt, Rose Baker; step-sons, Jeff, Keith and Greg Jr. (Amy); five step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren, along with many other friends and relatives who will miss her greatly.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; sister, Peg Pollzie; and her dear sweet niece, Erin Pollzie at the age of 21. Jan endeared many hard times throughout her life and persevered in her efforts to make a better world for herself and for those whom she loved.

Visitation was held on November 23rd at Walker Funeral Home, Toledo. Burial services began at the funeral home the following morning where friends and family initiated their final goodbyes before the graveside service at Restlawn Memorial Park.
