Mrs Flossie Dickens Nichols, wife of John Nichols residing on the Caddis Land south east of town, died at the OSU Hospital in Columbus about noon on Thursday. Mrs Nichols was rushed to the hospital about 2:00 Thursday morning in the Davis & Byers ambulance and a babe born there a few hours after her arrival died at birth.
