William S. White, son of Jacob and Avice Shaw White, was born on November 6, 1827 and passed to his reward on November 25, 1837. It aprears some sickness or illness was present in 1837 for the Shaw family. William S. and two of his brothers, Roberts S. and Wesley, all died within three weeks of each other and 5 months previous their sister, Nancy M passed away. Jacob and Avice Shaw lost 4 of their children, all in one year.
