Mr. Brinson was a native and life long resident of Augusta. Even as a boy he loved automobile parts, having worked in many places as long as it had to do with auto parts. He was an ASE Certified Auto Parts Specialist. He loved NASCAR and the Atlanta Falcons. Family members include his son: John Elliott Brinson of Pensacola, FL; stepdaughter: Alisha Mims; mother and father: Faye E. and George M. Huff of Augusta; sister: Vickie (Brian) Ellis, Lisa (Bobby) Baxter; niece: Amanda (Bill) Lamb, nephews: Christopher Baxter, Kyle Baxter; grand-niece: Elizabeth Baxter. Mr. Brinson was preceded in death by his biological father: Gary Gene Brinson. Graveside services will be held Monday, October 29, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Westover Memorial Park with Father Miguel officiating.
