James Fenn Sr. was the son of Benjamin Fenn 1612-1672 & his 2nd wife Susanna Ward (his parents were married in 1664). He married Joanna Prudden in 1697; she died in 1740. He married Sarah Platt, widow of Richard Bryan, after the death of his first wife.

Both James & Sarah Platt Bryan Fenn are likely buried in Milford Cemetery as previous spouses and some of their children are. However, as they are not included in the Hale Collection (likely their headstones did not survive to Hale's era) I list their burial as unknown as it is unlikely to be 'confirmed'.
