Richard Bryan died in 1734 and Sarah remarried to James FENN Sr. (1672-1754) sometime after his 1st wife (Joanna Prudden) died in 1740.
(There appears to be an error in her supposed death date, with most family genealogies listing it as 1749, however, this appears to be caused by confusion with son Richard's second wife, Sarah Treat who this younger Richard married in March 1721/2, being listed as his father's second wife erroneously.
Contributor Mindy Kittell provided the following source information to support the fact that Richard Bryan 1666-1734 had only ONE wife, that being Sarah PLATT.
Sources:Families of Early Milford Ct pg 126 #5 then pg 127 for the son #8 Richard Bryan 1699-1767. Other confirmation can come from 'Gen of the Cleveland Families' pg 932 (as a footnote) and various SAR memberships 2240,90961, 27346.)
Both Sarah Platt Bryan & James Fenn Sr. are likely buried in Milford Cemetery, however, I have not found documentation of that to date. Possibly their headstones had been destroyed by the time of the Hale Collection.
