Edward “Leroy” Kindrick, son of Ira Clark and Birdie Mae (Stacy) Kindrick was born June 6, 1935 in Walton Chapel, MO., and departed this life on December 15, 2018 at Westwood Hills in Poplar Bluff, MO. He had attained the age of eighty-three years, six months, and nine days.

Leroy had resided in Ellsinore, Mo., for most of his life. He was of the Baptist faith. He retired as a UAW representative from General Motors in 1985. After retirement, he was volunteer for the UAW Drop-in Center in Poplar Bluff. He enjoyed hunting, Bee’s and gardening.

On May 1, 1955 he was united in marriage to Lydia Marie Milton in Walton Chapel, she preceded him in death on January 7, 2014.

He is survived by three children, Terry Hanley and husband Sterling of Shreveport LA., Rhonda Curtiss and husband William of Fort Pierce, FL., and Eddie L. Kindrick of Saint Louis, MO; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and many relatives and friends who mourn his passing.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.to 8:00p.m. at the McSpadden Funeral Home in Ellsinore, Mo; with the Funeral Services being held on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jerry Crowley will be officiating. Burial will be in the Walton Chapel Cemetery in Butler County, MO.
