Sikeston - Dale Alcorn, 80 years old, of Sikeston, died Thursday at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 3, 1914, in Greenway, Ark., the son of Ellis K. and Wrista L. Fulkerson Alcorn. He and Elma A. Heuiser were married Oct. 12, 1935. She died Jan. 25, 1970. He and Kathryn Shell were married Sept. 11, 1970.
He was a real estate broker and had been involved with farming. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Sikeston Masonic Lodge 310 AF&AM, Moolah Shrine Temple in St. Louis, Sikeston Eagles 3319, a charter member of Sikeston Elks and SEMO Shrine Mounted Patrol. He was a 32nd Degree Mason.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Jimmy Alcorn, a daughter, Patricia Clark; two stepsons, Robert and Rodney Shell; three brothers, C.D., Darrell and Delmar Alcorn; two sisters, Ruth Chaney and Blanche McDonald; four grandchildren, a great-grandson and three step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister.
Funeral service will be held Sunday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
