She was born Dec. 2, 1913, in Dexter, the daughter of Ellis K. and Wrista L. Fulkerson Alcorn.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church here.
She and her husband formerly owned the Little Big Dollar Store in Kennett and Kindred's Grocery & Market in Sikeston.
She had previously worked for JCPenney and the Brown Shoe Co.
On July 4, 1931, in Morley, she married Eugene V. Kindred. He survives.
Also surviving is a son, Alan Kindred; one daughter, Joy O'Neal; four brothers, Dale, Darrell, Delmar and C.D. Alcorn; two sisters, Ruth Chaney and Blanche McDonald; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Monday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel here.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
