SHERIDAN, Nov. 14 - Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Gutbrod Grauer were read in Trinity Lutheran Evangelical church by Pastor George W. Matheson, Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 6 at 2:30 p.m.

Mrs. Grauer was born in Wurtember, Germany, to Mr. and Mrs. Adam Butbrod, September 1, 1862, and died after a long illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sylvester Latham of Bellevue at the age of 84 years 2 months and 1 day. Rosa Gutbrod came to America at the age of 19. On May 14, 1882, she married Jacob Grauer at Oxford, Iowa, and in 1890 Mr. and Mrs. Grauer came to Sheridan to make their home.

Mrs. Grauer is survived by her six children: Louise Latham, McMinnville, Rt. 3; Anna Schatz of Camas, Wash.; Jacob Gauer, Sheridan; Adam Grauer of Portland; William Grauer of Beaverotn; and Alice Brandt of Sheridan; one brother, George Gutbrod of Sheridan; one sister, Mrs. Henry Schatz of Canby; eighteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Interment was in the Sheridan Masonic Cemetery with grandsons, Cleo Latham, Marion Grauer, Jack Grauer, Glenn Grauer, Lester Schatz and Edward Wilson acting as pallbearers.
