Joseph was the s/o Abner & Mary (Barnhill) Mundell. His grandparents were James & Margaret (Garret) Mundell Sr.

Joseph was the youngest of 13 children all born in Greene Co, PA. Joseph's siblings were:
Jean, Mary, John, James, Rebecca, Nancy, Samuel, Eleanor, Abner, Priscilla and Hugh

Joseph was the husband of Mary Reeves. He worked as a farmer in Greene twp. of Greene County, PA.

The census of 1860, 1870 & 1880 shows the couple with the following children living with them:

Joseph Mundell was originally buried in the nearby Mundell Family Cemetery. After the death of his wife, Mary, he was moved to this cemetery and buried next to Mary. Abner & Mary Mundell (Joseph's parents) are buried on their right. Next to Mary on her left is their daughter Rebecca. There are other Mundel & Mundell names in this cemetery.

Further on the left is Thomas J & his wife Mary Ann and their daughter Rebecca. How the last 3 tie-in is unknown. All of these are shown on findagrave.
