Nonalee Hamilton passed away on Dec. 31, 2018

Nonalee's life began on May 29, 1934 in Sheboygan, Wis., the daughter of Nelson and Birtha Lonzo. Nonalee attended Butler County Community College for her instruction in nursing assistance. She was united in marriage to Carmen Lee Hamilton and he precedes her in death. Nonalee was a homemaker and occasionally helped care for people in home health. She was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church and worked on the church's braille Bible project. Nonalee knitted hundreds of hats for children at hospitals and for church over many years.
She is survived by: her son Henry (Andre) Hamilton of Andover; grandchildren, Brianna Hamilton and Samantha (John) Burns, both of Phoenix; great grandchildren, Brett (Victoria) Burns, Dominic Burns and Demitri Burns; step granddaughter, Zoie Griffin and her brother Thomas Lonzo of California.
Nonalee passed away at Meridian Nursing Home in Wichita on Dec. 31, 2018.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Her family will gather with friends on Friday January 4, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. at Sunset Lawns Cemetery, El Dorado.
