Mrs, Abraham was born, in Gallatin county, Ili., October 11, 1824. She was united in marriage to Thomas Abraham February 11, 1844, and lived happily with him until his death which occurred July 16, 1897. She was blessedly converted at the age of 13, united with the M. E. church, and lived a faithful Christian life from that time forth. She was an affectionate wife and mother beloved by all who knew her.
Her funeral was conducted by Rev. J. T. Bays from her daughter's residence Friday afternoon at 2 p. m. Interment in Neodesha cemetery.
