The holidays were a special time of the year for Ione. She looked forward to all of them. She especially enjoyed hosting them as it gave her the opportunity to cook. Ione was known for feeding her company, letting no one go home hungry. Her family was her life and she celebrated each and every one of them from children, grandchildren, great grandchildren to all her siblings and nieces and nephews. Ione was proud of their accomplishments and enjoyed being a part of them. She was a long time member of St. Philip The Apostle Parish.
