Mr. VanBoxel was employed by Northern Papermill for 45 years prior to his retirement in 1955. He was a member of St. Willebrord Church.
Survivors are three sons and daughters-in-law, Al and Jeanne VanBoxel, Mequon; Richard and Mary VanBoxel, George Jr. and Donna VanBoxel, all of Green Bay; four daughters and sons-in-law, lone and Frank Piontek, Betty and Chester Cieslewicz, all of Green Bay; Elaine and Kenneth Blohowiak, Bellevue; JoAnn and Dave Minten, De Pere; one daughter-in-law, Phyllis VanBoxel, Green Bay; 35 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Lambert and Mabel VanBoxel, Clarence and Ruth VanBoxel, two sisters, Mrs. Nel Miller, and Miss Ann VanBoxel, all of Green Bay.
He was preceded in death by one son, Donald VanBoxel, one daughter, Lucille Burgoyne, three brothers, four sisters and three half-sisters.
Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 2 to 9 p.m. today and prior to the funeral on Friday. Prayer service 7:30 this evening. Funeral 10:30 a.m. Friday, St. Willebrord Church, Rev. Ken DeGroot officiating. Burial in Allouez Cemetery.
