William J. (Bill) VanBoxel, 57, 1326 Grignon St., died Tuesday evening in a local hospital after a long illness.
Born in Green Bay, he married Gladys Hendrickson in Green Bay in 1928. He was employed by the Kraft Cheese until 16 years ago when he became a concrete construction contractor.
Survivors are his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Donald (Mickey) LaFortune; (Carol) Van Roy; Mrs. David (Jean) Pokorny and Mrs. Robert (Joan) Orde and five sons, Ronald, William, Bernard, Steve, Daniel, all of Green Bay; four brothers, George, Lambert, Larry, Clarence; six sisters, Miss Ann Van Boxel, Mrs. Carl (Nell) Miller, Mrs. Armond (Catherine) Collard; Mrs. Agnes Zenz, Mrs. Alberta Van Lanen and Mrs. C. M. (Elizabeth) Smits, all of Green Bay; 19 grandchildren.
At Findeisen-Greiser Funeral Home after 7 tonight. Rosary 8 each evening. Funeral 9:30 a.m. Friday, St. Mary of the Angels Church, the Rev. Chester Osowski officiating. Burial In Allouez Cemetery.
