Elizabeth married her 1st cousin, Charles Latimer in 1863.

In addition to their own children, they adopted the illegitimate son of Ellen (Helen) Jane Dorey, Elizabeth's sister -- *Solomon Dorey* became *Solomon Latimer*.

Her husband Charles died of old age in 1909.
