Mamie Foster Alexander Roberts, age 104, of York, Alabama, born on December 3, 1913 to Floyd and Tamar Ruffin Foster in Choctaw County, Alabama, passed away at her residence on December 22, 2017.
She was a member of New Hope Church, where Sis. Roberts late husband, Rev. C. M. Roberts in 1976 deeded the land and built the church that she and many relatives have maintained their membership throughout the years.
Survivors include: Three children, numerous grandchildren; great and great-great grandchildren, friends, neighbors and loyal church members.
Funeral Services were held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 254 McConnell Street with Rev. Akiva Burton officiating. Interment to follow in the Garden of Peace section at Elmwood Memorial Gardens, Highway 11 East, York, Alabama.
