Charlotte Jean Knighten, 76, of Martinsburg passed away on September 5, 2017 and was reunited with her husband Michael Knighten Jr.

Born July 27, 1941 in Tyrone, Maryland to the late Paul and Edna Ness.

She loved fishing and gardening and being in the outdoors. Charlotte also enjoyed sewing.

She will be sadly missed by her sons: Ralph Morris Jr. of Walkersville, Maryland, Paul Morris of Martinsburg, Michael Morris of Inwood, Mark Morris of Hedgesville; daughters: Terry Shane and Doris Morris both of Martinsburg; step-daughter, Kelly Myers; brothers: Wayne Ness and Leo Ness both of Taneytown, Maryland; sisters: Nancy Cannon of Littlestown, Pennsylvania and Delores Embrey of Westminster, Maryland; seven grandson; five granddaughters; twenty one great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons: Bruce Morris and Robert Morris Sr.

Serving as Pall Bearers is: Michael Morris Jr., Michael Shane Jr., Tommy Myers, Paul Morris Jr., Robert Morris Jr., Mark Morris Jr. Donnie Morris and Michael Loy.

Friends will be received at Rosedale Funeral Home on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 10:00 am. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am with Interment to follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
