Patricia was a graduate of Shore High School and Purdue University, and then married Irving C. Diemer Jr. on Sept. 9, 1950, in Euclid. They lived in Lyndhurst and Gates Mills prior to moving to Chardon.
Patricia served in the U.S. Navy Reserves, was a member of the Town and Country Garden Club, and the Gates Mills Community Club. She was an avid reader of mysteries, and enjoyed gardening, piano, knitting, bridge, puzzles, her pets, and entertaining family and friends in her home. At Maplewood at Heather Hill (formerly The Liberty) she was chairman of the Residents Committee for 7 years.
Survivors include her husband, Irving C. of Chardon; two daughters, Lori Diemer of Willoughby and Dyan (Kevin O'Donoghue) Diemer of New York City, NY; son, Dale C. (Laura) of Hambden Twp.; two granddaughters, Hannah and Hayley Diemer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kurt; and sister, Iris Ryder.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held at Maplewood at Heather Hill, 12350 Bass Lake Road, Chardon from 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2014.
