In Memory of Christopher Armstrong, son to John Armstrong in Brockwoodlees who died March 31st 1772 aged 1 year. Also John Armstrong his son who died October 24th 1788 aged 15 years. ‘A quick observer once was I, By quick misfortune young did die, My parents left for me to mourn, Till they like me to death do turn’. John Armstrong their father who died 17th December 1798 aged 67 years. Also Grizel Armstrong spouse to John Armstrong who died at Brookwoodlees 11th April 1814 aged 82 years.
