Actress and co-author of the book "Astro-Psychiatry" (1968) and a well known Hollywood astrologer. She is best known for portraying the "Library Ghost" in the 1984 blockbuster film "Ghostbusters." She was the daughter of L. Stauffer Oliver, a judge in Philadelphia, and Margaret Hunter Scott Oliver. Her grandfather was James Hunter Scott, a well known Shakespearean actor in England. She was also the mother of actress Susan Oliver.
