Mrs. Ruby Cooper, wife of Clarence Cooper, died suddenly of neuralgia of the heart, at her home in New Castle, December 18. Mrs. Cooper was born and raised near Transfer, her maiden name being Ruby Artherholt. She was a young woman of noble character and her friends were legion. She was a member of the Presbyterian church here and of the Lady Maccabees at Greenville. Surviving her, beside her husband is one son, Norman, her father, M. D. Artherholt, one sister, Zelnith, and one brother, John. The funeral was held at the home of her father, Monday, December 21, at 11 o'clock. Services were conducted by Rev. Ash of Greenville; interment made at Greenville cemetery.
