John L. Artherholt
John L. Artherholt, 76, a retired farmer who had been visiting Phoenix for several years from his native Transfer, Pa., died Thursday in Tempe Community Hospital.
Mr. Artherholt, 2242 N. 29th Place, was a past president of the Kiwanis Club at Transfer, where he had a record of more than 20 years of perfect attendance.
Service and burial will be held in Transfer, Carr Mortuary in Tempe announced.
His wife, Grace; two sons, David of Greenville, Pa., and John L. Jr. of Transfer; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley McKenzie of Jamestown, Pa.; and eight grandchildren survive.
