SACHTLEBEN, 62, PASSES AT HOME

Lyndhurst Official Was Paralyzed By Stroke

Arthur Sachtleben, 62, Stuyvesant Avenue, Lyndhurst, who has been a resident of the township for more than twenty years, died yesterday at his home. He suffered a stroke six months ago which left him paralyzed.

Services will be at the home tomorrow night at 8 o’clock. Interment will be Saturday morning at New York Cemetery, Hackensack.

He is survived by his wife, May; a son Kenneth and two daughters Mildred and Thelma, all of Lyndhurst.

Mr. Sachtleben was a member of Adoniram Lodge, F. and A. M; one of the first members of J. Morgan Read Council, Junior Order, U. A. M., and the second councilor of the lodge. Four years ago he another term as councilor.

For twenty years he was employed as a foreman painter at the Delaware Lacakawanna and Western Railroad shops in Kingsland. A former president of the Lyndhurst Board of Education he recently resigned as a member of the Lyndhurst Board of Health.
