Elbée was predeceased by her husband Richard, her daughter Mary, and her two sons Steve and Pete. She is survived by her daughter Kate Farricker and her husband Greg Bazylewicz, her son Richard, her son Myke and his wife Carol, and daughter-in-law Mandy Farricker Shay. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren: Abby and Zoe Farricker, Sarah West, Jack Farricker, Tracy and Frank Farricker, Lisa Farricker Blundell and her husband Abraham, and Daniel, Michael, David and Mary Bazylewicz. She is also survived by her five great-grandchildren: Christian and Alex Farricker, Eric and Lizzie Kropp, and the youngest addition, Stevie Blundell.
Elbée and her husband Richard were the founders of The Mary Fund, a non-profit fundraising organization that donated millions to local hospice centers, in memory of their daughter Mary.
Her family will receive friends on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 31 Arch Street in Greenwich. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 21 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Catherine of Sienna Church, 4 Riverside Ave., Riverside, CT. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Norwalk.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the ALS Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 665 Canton Street, Suite 103, Norwood, MA 02062, in memory of her son Pete who passed away from ALS. www.leopgallaghergreenwich.com
