Goldie S. Higgs, 88, died Thursday at Briarwood Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was the former Goldie Sapp, a native of Caneyville and a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 560 and Auburndale Baptist Church. Survivors: one daughter; two sons; a sister; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday, Owen, 5317 Dixie Highway. Burial: Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Sunday.
