The funeral for Lucille Caroline Axt of Northeast Portland, a retired inspector for Electronic Specialty Corp., will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes. Burial will be in Rose City Cemetery .
She died of a heart attack Sunday in a Portland hospital at the age of 65.
Born March 11, 1925, in Madison, Neb., she had lived in the Portland area about 40 years. Her maiden name was Rakowsky. She married Roy L. Axt in January 1955.
Mrs. Axt worked for Electronic Specialty Corp. in Portland and Vancouver, Wash., from 1957 until her retirement in 1988. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. Her husband died in 1984.
She is survived by her daughter, Jackie McCarty of Gresham; sister, Esther Moore of Charles City , Iowa; brother, Edwin Rakowsky of Norfolk, Neb.; and one granddaughter.
