Melville and Big Timber friends were shocked Sunday evening to hear of the sudden death, at the Big Timber hospital, following a Wednesday operation for appendicitis, of Louis Tessier, pronounced "Tracy," of Melville. Funeral services were held in this city Tuesday morning, at the Patterson & Graff chapel, by Rev. Andrew Roukema of the Evangelical church. Musical selections were furnished by Miss Ellen Rein, accompanied by Miss Ema Stubbkjare. Pallbearers were Clarence and Walter McMahon, Lloyd Rein, F. S. Longan, Harold C. Bourke, and Stanley Hanson of Melville. Burial was in Mountain View. Deceased was born at Melville, June 29, 1902, and had always made that his home. He leaves a father, Prosper Tessier of Melville, aged 81, and a brother Frank Tessier of Trenton, N. J. Everybody knew and liked Louis Tessier. All visitors to that place were greeted with a "hello" and a hand wave, and in time all from the outside knew him.
