Mary Roberts "Bobbi" Yancy, 67, passed away April 30, 2005 after a battle with Alzheimer's. Bobbi was born May 2, 1937 in Ashland, KY. She moved to Arizona at age 3 months and loved the Southwest all of her life. After having her 4 children, Bobbi was very involved in young people activities. Her primary career was working with a dentist for 20 years. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gary E. Yancy, daughters Kathi and Brigette, and son Gary Bryan, 7 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, her mother and step-father Margaret and James Ellett, her sister Jimmi and her brother Doug. Services will be at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School, Scottsdale, AZ. Visitation and viewing for Bobbi will be Thursday, 5:00-8:00 PM. The memorial service will be on Friday at 10:30 AM. Burial services at the Paradise Memorial Gardens on the NE corner of 92nd St. and Shea Blvd in Scottsdale will be at 9:00 AM prior to the memorial service.
