PJ: 6/17/1959: Mrs. Ethel Hill Johnson, 59, wife of Rudolph N. Johnson of Bemus Point, died at 1:30 a.m. today (June 17, 1959) in WCA Hospital, following a lingering illness. She was the daughter of Joel and Mary Dunham Hill. Mrs. Johnson, a 30 year resident of Town of Ellery, had a ready smile for everyone. Her love of flowers was evidenced in her charming home garden. Born October 6, 1890 in Evans, W. Virginia, she was a daughter of Joel and Mary Dunham Hill. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Johnson is survived by a daughter Mrs. Bernice Swanson, Cassadaga, two sons, Donald W. Johnson, Dover, O., and Allen Johnson, Bemus Point: two brothers, Lackey Hill, Charleston, W. Va., and Raymond Hill, Dunbar, W. Va.; and four grandchildren.
