Evelyn is survived by five children. She was also predeceased by her soulmate/life partner Ruth Casagrande in 2007.
Evelyn was very active in the community. She loved music and singing. She was a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State College with degrees in elementary education and fine arts.
She also graduated from the University of Connecticut with a master's in educational psychology. Her passion was church and music, but she also had a great interest in sports, children, travel, cooking, baking, creative arts, woodcarving and writing.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Bartlett later in the spring.
