Manti, Utah - On February 23, 2019 our Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Friend, returned to her Heavenly Father. She also returned to be with her husband, Lowell, her two children, Loretta and Mike, and other family members.
Beulah was born September 22, 1929 in St. George, Utah, a daughter of Ruben Lang and Beulah Schmutz Stratton. She graduated from Dixie High School, Class of 1946. She then attended Dixie Jr. College for 18 months, until she received her mission call to Georgia.
She married Lowell Harvey Sprague December 30, 1957 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on July 13, 1992.
Beulah was an active member of the LDS Church and enjoyed doing Genealogy.
She loved gardening, road trips, baking, Scrabble, Puzzles and doing Crossword Puzzles. Her family was her number one priority and she loved each and every one of them.
Beulah leaves behind her children: Anita Bloomster, Thomas Sprague, Ruth Sprague and Paul Sprague; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; also 2 siblings: Wilford Stratton and Clorinda Castanada.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two children and seven siblings.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. in the Crescent Park 1st LDS Ward Chapel, 10885 South Pampus Way (835 East), in Sandy, Utah, where friends may call for viewing Thursday from 1:00 to 2:30 prior to the services.
Additional viewing will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 at the Sun River 2nd Branch LDS Ward Chapel, 4461 South Country Club Drive, in St. George, Utah, where friends may call for viewing Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M.
Burial will be at 2:00 P.M. in the St. George City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
