She is survived by 3 children, Richard “Dick” (Suzanne) Hanzel of Oregon, WI, Dorothy (Terry) Chitwood of Richland Center, WI, Janet (Herb) Irvin of Fort Collins, CO; seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her sister, Lorraine Pisciotta. In 1965 Franco Frongia of Sardinia, Italy lived with the family as an exchange student and remains close to the family to this day.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Thelma; her husband Fred Hanzel and her husband Ralph Klinzing.
No services will be held at this time, a celebration of Lavonne’s life will be held in the spring at the Clary Memorial Funeral Home. Lavonne’s family would like to extend their gratitude to all the staff at Schmitt Woodland Hills for their attentiveness and care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Schmitt Woodland Hills or Agrace Hospice, in Lavonne’s name.
