They had 5 children: William Edgar Doty, Cutha May Doty Moon, Eulalia Maude Doty Randolph Coble, Gerald Bryan Doty, and Donal Wayne Doty. James was a Station Master for the Interurban Railroad. He loved to play baseball and was on the town team for Burrows, IN. He died at young age of massive heart attack.
