Swazi Royalty. She ruled as the Queen of Eswatini (Swaziland) from 2005 until her death in 2019. Also known as Inkhosikati LaDube, she was a model and a former Miss Teen Swaziland. In 2004, during a child's birthday party she met Mswati III, the King of Eswatini (Swaziland). Later that year, the King chose her out of thousands of Eswatini women to be his new bride during a Umhlanga reed dance at the Ludzidzini Royal Village. The two married in 2005 when the King was 47 years old and she was just 18 years old. She became his twelfth wife and was named Queen Nothando Dube. The two had three children together. In 2010, it was discovered that she was having an affair with justice minister Ndumiso Mamba, for which she was reportedly placed under house arrest. The queen who was unhappy in her marriage filed several complaints of torture and abuse at the hands of the king's guards. She was eventually freed from house arrest but was banished from the royal kingdom and from seeing her children. In March 2019, it was announced by Governor Lusendvo Fakudze through the Eswatini Broadcasting and Information Service that the queen had died in a hospital in South Africa on March 8, 2019, at the age of 30, where she was being treated for an illness.
