Trained at Camps Taylor, Ky., and McClellan, Ala. Assigned to Battery C, 27th Field Artillery, 9th Brigade. Died of double pneumonia January 22, 1919, Camp McClellan, Ala. Buried in Harmony Cemetery, Monroe County, Ind.
