DIES AFTER A LONG ILLNESS DEATH
DEATH OCCURRED YESTERDAY AT 12:10 - FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE CONDUCTED THIS MORNING AT 10:30 - INTERMENT IN ROBERTS CEMETERY.
After a lingering illness, Mrs. Sallie Henderson, fifty years of age, passed away at her home, 409 North Guillemarde street, yesterday afternoon at 12:10, the cause of her death being cancer of the stomach. She had been confined to her bed four weeks previous to her death.
Funeral services will be conducted from the residence this morning at 10:30 o'clock, Rev. Eugene R. Pendleton, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating. Interment will be made in the cemetery at Roberts.
Four children, three sons and a daughter, survive Mrs. Henderson. Her children are: Herbert, Merrill and Elsy and Mrs. Eva Ingram.
