She was born on April 10, 1955 in Kankakee, IL, the daughter of Robert Paul Sr. and Maryetta Loretta Eckhoff Giger.
She married Thomas L. Temple on April 19, 1975, in Momence, IL.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas “Tom” Temple of Momence, IL. Two sons and two daughters-in-laws; Jacob and Jennifer Temple of Anchorage, AK and Ryan and Sandra Temple of Suffolk, VA. Five grandchildren; Chloe, Kennady, Connor, Kelsey, and Jaxon. Two sisters-in-laws; Kathy Giger of Reno, NV and Donna Giger of Beard, TX. Her mother, Maryetta Giger of Momence, IL. Father-in-law, Nolan Temple of Bourbonnais, IL.
She is preceded in death by her father and three brothers; Robert Giger Jr., Wayne Giger, and Terry Giger. Mother-in-law, Dolores Temple.
She worked at RJ Van Drunen & Sons as a quality assurance clerk and lab technician. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Bradley, IL. She enjoyed reading and making blankets for children with cancer. She was fond of sightseeing and vacationing.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial visitation and service will be Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. with a memorial service following at 4 p.m. at Cotter Funeral Home in Momence.
