Margaret (Gallagher) Yagins, 81, of Clifton, passed away on April 7, 2016. Born in Passaic, she lived there before moving to Clifton in 1955.
A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Marge served on the Parish Finance Council for many years and was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post Ladies Auxiliary, Clifton. Marge was a Customer Service Representative for PNC Bank in Passaic and Clifton, where she worked for 30 years, retiring in 1999.
Beloved wife for 56 years of the late Peter P. Yagins who passed away in 2011. Devoted mother of Kathleen Kroh and her husband Richard of Brick, Paul and his wife Beverly of Live Oaks, FL, Laura Dowling of Belleville, Matthew and his wife Michele of Clifton, Richard and his wife Kelly of Plant City, FL, and Rosemary Frappier and her husband Michael of Cliffwood. Loving grandmother of Jessica, Jennifer, Jaclyn, Shannon, Sean, Dylan, Paige, Megan, Peter, Danielle, Jake, Peyton, Katelyn and Dennis. Cherished great grandmother of Evaline, Brielle, Autumn and Teegan. Dear sister of the late John and Jerome Gallagher, and the late Irene Golick.
Funeral Monday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 11 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Sunday 2-6 PM at the funeral home.
