Born in Russia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Raymond Balin. She was member of the Rabbi H. Guterman Synagogue, the Mizrachi Women's Organization and the Scranton Hebrew Day School Auxiliary.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Feig, Salsbury, Md., and Mrs. Beverly Klein, Scranton; a son, Norman, Binghamton, N.Y.; four brothers, Herman, Julie and Manny Balin, all of Binghamton; and Samuel Balin, Toledo, Ohio; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
