VANDERWAAL - Bert Vanderwaal of Dexter passed away at a local hospital March 7, 1961. He was born in Holland March 8, 1902 and was united in marriage to Lydia Gielish at Reno December 30, 1947. He was a member of the Eugene Eagles Lodge. Besides his wife, he is survived by 3 children of a former marriage: Nicholas of Eugene, John and Burt of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; 9 grandchildren. Funeral will be held at the Poole-Larsen Chapel Saturday, March 11, 1961 at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Matt Flood officiating. Interment at West Lawn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart Fund in care of Poole-Larsen.
