Tommie Adams of Crescent died Aug. 9 at the local hospital.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First African Baptist Church in Darien with the Rev. George Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Belleville Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Adams; children, Henry Noble and Terry Adams; stepchildren, Roberta Palmer, Donald, Fred, Sharon and Jeffery McIver, Rebecca Ferguson, Eli, George, William and Ralph Noble, Elizabeth Stewart and Kathy McCormick; a brother, Ras Adams; and five grandchildren.
Mr. Adams was a native of Ripley, Miss. He was retired from Georgia Pacific Corp. and a member of the First African Baptist Church.
