GROVETON – Services for Tina Bell Campbell, 91, of Galena Park were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2007, in the Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. James Whittlesey officiating.
Burial followed in Ivie Cemetery.
Mrs. Campbell died Sunday, April 15, in Galena Park.
She was born Nov. 17, 1915, in Houston County and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her husband, Donald John Campbell; a son, Jerald Campbell; parents, Thomas and Cora Goodson Gates; two brothers, William Gates and Cleet Gates; and a sister, Bertie Lee Walker.
Survivors include two daughters, Jeanette Ryne of Houston and Joyce Coates of Houston; three sons and their spouses, Maxie and Linda Campbell of Houston, Eddie and Clara Campbell of Wimberly and Greg and Susan Campbell ofNogalus Prairie; a brother and his spouse, Clayborn and Lucille Gates of Houston; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Elner Smitherman of Houston and Fannie Maud and Jesse Sides of Lufkin; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers included James McComb, Gene McComb, Robert McComb, Steve McComb, Raymond Gates and Johnny Zolman.
Groveton Funeral Home directed the arrangements.
