Mrs. Elouise G. “Jimmie” Williams, age 91, of Tallapoosa, GA, passed away March 31, 2019.
She was born May 4, 1927, in Sand Mountain, Alabama, to the late George Henry, Sr., and India Anna Maddox Gilbert-Maples.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Sidney R. Williams; a son, Danny Williams; and seven siblings, Novella Pack Brown, Audrey Frost, Louise Tucker, Bobbie Kilgore, Marie Jones, Dick Gilbert, and G.H. Gilbert.
She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Jack Davis, of Tallapoosa and Clarice and Winford Casey, of Muscadine, AL; a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Sandra Williams, of Tallapoosa; a half-sister, Wilma Frost, of Chatsworth, GA; 14 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 2:00PM from the Tallapoosa Church of God with Rev. Mike Casey, Rev. Jack Williams, and Rev. Wayne Reddish officiating. Granddaughter, Kim Davis Latimer will be providing the eulogy. Music will be provided by Judy Davis, Krista Davidson, and Baylea Davidson.
Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Scotty Davis, Dwayne Williams, Keven Williams, Robbie Williams, Christopher Williams, Gabe Davis, and Tyler Carter.
Interment will follow in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jack Williams officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Tallapoosa Church of God Tuesday evening between the hours of 6:00 and 9:00PM.
