Dorothy Mae Thompson Autry, 83, passed away Dec. 24, 2014 in Crowell, Texas. She was born May 23, 1931 in Crowell to W.C. and Daisy Mae Phillips Thompson. She married J.C. Autry on Oct. 29, 1949 in Crowell. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church and was the Administrator of the Foard County Hospital District. She is survived by her husband, J.C.; one daughter Susan (Joe) Haynie; Grandchildren Crystal and Justin Haynie; 6 great grandchildren; 1 sister Margaret Reynolds of Boyd, Texas; 2 brothers Joe Don Thompson of Irving, Texas and Bryant Thompson of Crowell, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son Jess C. (Trey) Autry III in 1992; twin granddaughters Jessica and Jody Haynie in 1983 and 3 brothers Bill Gannaway, J.C. Thompson and Jerry Thompson.
