George Oram, colored, died at his home, near Plane No. 4, Sunday, of dropsy, aged 83 years. He is survived by two brothers, Edward B. Oram and Albert Oram, of New Market. Funeral from his late home, Wednesday, at 1 o'clock. Services were at Simpson chapel, New Market, by Rev. Carrington. The pallbearers were: Roland Dotson, Claymon Crampton, Lawrence Brightwell, Walter Fossett, Arthur Luby, Charles Anderson. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. W. E. Falconer, funeral director.
